WORMS OF THE BIRTH returns with 3 more reworked old jams/songs from between 1989 and 1991. This is not earth shattering stuff, rather an exercise in nostalgia and an attempt to bring some new life to some old primitive riffs from the early formative years.

First, 'On We Slay' was originally penned and recorded in March 1991 during the NECROPHILIAC phase of MORBID DARKNESS. The lyrics have been completely re-written (the original ones were penned by Clayton M. Shaver) but most of the riffs are as they were in their original form.

Second, 'Three Days of Darkness' was originally the title track of a jam tape/demo that MORBID DARKNESS recorded in March 1990. The lyrics have been mostly re-written (the original ones were penned by Clayton M. Shaver) but most of the riffs remain true to those which were wholly improvised on the original recording.

Third, 'The Entity' is a condensed version of a 30 minute song I improvised/demoed in December 1989. The original lyrics were penned by my mother Roberta Shaver in the fall of 1989 inspired by the movie of the same name. These lyrics have been reworked around those original ones. 'The Entity' lyrics were first tried to tape earlier in December 1989 whilst MORBID DARKNESS still used the HAVOK moniker on the 'Easy Prey' jam tape/demo. It would later in the month become the first of three 30 minute songs that I would alone record; the second being 'The Frozen Spectre' in December of 1990 and the final being 'The Forest...' in December of 1991.
